Steps to get medical mariajuana card

    Step 1: Get a Physician’s Recommendation

  • You must first get a physician’s recommendation to obtain a medical card in Oklahoma. This recommendation must come from a licensed physician who is registered with OMMA.
  • Your physician will review your medical history and determine if medical marijuana is an appropriate treatment for your condition. If so, they will provide you with a signed recommendation that you can use to apply for your medical card.

Step 2: Apply for Your Medical Card

Once you have a physician’s recommendation, you can apply for your medical card online through the OMMA website. You will need to provide the following information:

  • Your personal information
  • Your physician’s information
  • Your recommendation
  • Your payment information
  • The state application fee for a medical card in Oklahoma is $100, and the card is valid for two years.

Step 3: Receive Your Medical Card

After your application is processed, you will receive your medical card in the mail within 14 days. Once you have your card, you can start visiting dispensaries and purchasing medical marijuana products.
